Sub floor
Limestone should be laid on a firm sub floor. Ideally, a level sand and cement screed is needed but suspended wooden floors can cope, provided they are strengthened. Professional advice should be sought.

Plaster and Plasterboard
Plaster walls have a weight limit of 20kg per square metre which goes up to 32kg per square metre for Plasterboard, including the weight of the tile, adhesive and grout. So while some products may not be suitable for a plaster wall, plasterboard can handle most products , depending on their weight.
